Hi.

These pages are full of what makes Penny Penny. Lots of crafts, rants, and fan girling.

I got the mad skills

Kiri

Woohoo! My first lace! Blocking! Awesome! And when I took out the pins, it didn't shrivel or spontaneously combust! You hear other people say it stays, but you never believe it until you see it with your own eyes. I used the pattern Kiri with Peruvian Collection Baby Cashmere, 60% baby alpaca, 30% merino wool, 10% cashmere.

Next? Rowan Birch, knitted in Rowan Kidsilk Haze in marmalade.

I turned in my second draft of my Caves and Karst paper, which is half of my senior thesis and takes care of an incomplete class. It felt so good. Dr. Penny is a ray of sunshine! She gave me a hug and we talked about all the exciting innovations for the geology program that she and most of the department are interested in implementing. It's really starting to feel like I'm going to graduate! I've never gotten this close before! So, party for me, cuz I gotta go make a portfolio and some photocopies. Oh, and I'm gonna poke an amoeba. Poke your friendly neighborhood amoeba, too.

Yummy.

It'll be one week
