How can you worry about someone you've never met?
One of my pregnant friends has pregestational diabetes, and the last couple of nights she hasn't had to use insulin in conjunction with meals. The verdict? Mom's body is trying to fix itself by taking nutrients from the plactena. He's only 34 weeks, so they're doing steroid dosage to mature up the little guy's lungs so he can make his debut next week.
I vow that every time I get a hug or snuggle until the little guy comes, I'm going to think about him really hard and hope that his room stays safe and snuggly until he can be rescued. Don't worry, Riley! Your mum and dad and doctors are doing everything they can for you!
