...what are you going to do now?
Mike asked this question Wednesday night. I replied with "the dishes!"
I decided champagne was a suitable way to celebrate.
Details of my 6 year Bachelor of Science in Geology:
*I met the man of my dreams and married him. A MRS and a BS!
*I was put on academic suspension, worked a crappy night job, and came back.
*I changed medications for my depression countless times.
*I changed therapists four times, and for now I don't need one.
*I saw a 100 year hailstorm, and how it destroys a car.
*My grandmother died and I picked up knitting to remember her.
*I started a knitting blog.
*I made two queen sized quilts.
*I survived my own personal Summer of Hell: field camp. This is a personal point of pride. as I was so sick I almost quit and got a Basic Science degree. Sometimes I think I probably should have quit, but I'm stubborn.
*I started spinning.
*I made some fantastic friends.
Pam, grandma to Riley, the new little guy, made me this quilt, which I snuggled under to finish my thesis. This is the first quilt I own that wasn't made out of fabric scraps or bedsheets. So cool.
Who's under there?
I have so many exciting things I want to do! Kirsten needs more clothes, Monica's coming back from England today, I need to spin until my leg cramps, I wan to rearrange the closets and sort the house, play with Fimo, make countless loaves of bread, burn all my class notes...I have so much to do!
