Project monogamy (kinda)
I've been trying a new thing for me. I always have eight gazillion projects I'm working on at any given time. What's new for me is finishing them before I pick up another one. Case in point: these cute dresses and pants that I'm sewing for an adorable little girl in Austin. I purchased canvases and paint in March, but I refuse to pull those out until these are finished, and the table is clean. Buttons, button holes, hand sewing down the lining (50% done), and elastic/hems on the pants are left.

Hey, turns out being stubborn is good for something! I'm working on this cross stitch rather furiously, partly in contest with Kat, and partly because I want to do this other cross stitch so badly. The difference between the teaser picture and this one is about 10 days. As for my next big cross stitch, it's the Little Alien School Girl sampler by Ink Circles. That and all the ones I have pinned in my Pinterest feed, tons of Ink Circles patterns and lots of little goofy ones. I'm even being good and not buying patterns, except for this Hobbit themed one. It was on sale and before I started this monogamy kick. I think this unemployment stint has been good for getting my mind palace in order.
Also, dyeing Aida cloth isn't really starting another project. Okay, yeah it is.
