For the more observant and fiber-knowledgable of you, you may have noticed the drop spindle in my stash box nest to Jino two days ago. While I was supposed to be doing homework, I made yarn.


Yes, it's kind of thick. I prefer it that way, so that I don't have to ply it with any other yarn. I'm excited, when we visit the Mill Canyon Wool Processing mill in Magdalena for a class field trip, I'm going to pick up some soy and mohair top. I can't wait to spin bamboo, too.
